Oh Deer...Someone is SIX!!

We had Tucker's 6th birthday party a few weeks early this year and I am so glad we did!  We had a hunting themed party at the farm.  We had hot dogs and chili and made s'mores.  I think most of the pictures are on Lauren's camera (thanks to Lauren for ALWAYS taking pictures for me!), but here are a few that I have.
The kids got "Big Buck" chocolate bars for their favors.  The cake was picked out by Tucker.  We looked at lots of cakes on Pinterest and when he saw one with this hunting figure set, he fell in love with it.

My children are obsessed with balloons.  They fought over them played with them before the guests arrived.

Here is a blurry group shot.  These are some sweet kids!  I love how Tucker has his hand around Coop, haha!

I couldn't believe I had a five year old last year, and this year I am amazed that I am old enough to have a six year old!
Some fun facts about Tucker:
Pizza is his favorite food; Pappaw is still his favorite person; He loves his little brother and is so sweet to him the majority of the time; Tucker does not like for people to know he is excited about something, he does not show any excitement when opening gifts or seeing something for the first time; He often times says very embarrassing things at the worst moments; He gets embarrassed easily; Tucker still gets carsick often; The only meat he will eat is chicken; He is still doing great in school and is reading so well!; His favorite thing to do is play games on the iPad or ride his four-wheeler; Tucker hates wearing button down shirts; He is not a fan of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts (weird)

More Fall Fun!

Fall is probably the most fun season of all!  Great weather, football, and lots of other fun stuff going on...
Tucker and I were excited to carve a pumpkin this year.  We got our pumpkin cleaned out before Daddy got home so he could carve it.  The boys thought it was disgusting!

Literally, they would not touch it.

Talon thought it was the funniest thing EVER!

We carved a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle.

Talon fell asleep before we could get the pumpkin lit.  I think it turned out really well!

Tucker loved it. :)

We also baked and iced Halloween cookies.
These kids love anything sweet.

It is a very serious undertaking, icing cookies.

Talon and I made a fun Thanksgiving breakfast!

The turkeys turned out so cute!

Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures at Thanksgiving lunch!  We ate at the farm with the whole Tidmore/Taft family.  We had lots of food and the kids had so much fun playing together!

First Field Trip!

Tucker's first field trip was to the pumpkin patch in Clanton.  I'm so glad I got to go with him  It really was so much fun and I love getting to see him interact with his little friends.
We took a hayride out to the pumpkin patch where he got to pick out his own pumpkin.  The kids got to jump in all the blow up jumpies.

There was also a little petting zoo, which I always love.

They also got to ride the horses and a train.  It was lots of fun and a beautiful day!

A Ninja and A Dragon

For Halloween this year Tucker wanted to be a ninja.  So I had to try to figure something out for Talon to be so that they could remotely "go together."
Tucker loves Halloween so much...Talon, however, not so much.

We met up with cousins at Aunt April and Uncle Travis's house so we could all trick or treat together in their neighborhood.  Talon did not want to participate in the group picture.

They had so much fun going from house to house together!  They are getting so grown up nobody gets scared any more. :)  Talon and Thatcher lasted for a while, they rode in the wagon.

Hopefully next year Talon will enjoy it as much as Tucker!  They both loved all the candy! (So did Daddy)
